Hi-Temp Low-Charging ESD Tape from Desco

Chino, CA — Desco’s Wescorp brand ESD Hi Temp Polyimide Tape is a low-charging tape that can be exposed to high temperature applications such as wave soldering. The polyimide film is 1.0 mil thick (0.001″ or 0.0254 mm), and will not leave a residue when removed. The tape generates less than 50V (at 73°F, 45 percent RH average) when unwound from the roll, making it safe to use around most ESD-sensitive components.

Adhesive surface resistance is 10E4 to 10E8 ohms. It is temperature-resistant to 572°F (300°C) for 10 seconds max. The tape is lead-free and RoHS-compliant. Four widths are available: 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 1-in. (6.35, 12.7, 19, and 25.4mm). All are on 3-in. (76mm) cores.
